Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective Resveratrol is a kind of polyphenols with biological activity, but its biological function is still unclear. This study aimed to investigate the protective effect of Res on myocardial I/R injury and to explore its potential mechanism. Methods H9c2 cells were used for the in vitro experiments and oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) model was established. After resveratrol treatment, the expression levels of SOD and MDA were detected by ELISA, the cell activity was detected by CCK8, and the changes of iron death related proteins were detected by Western-bolt and immunofl uorescence. Results Resveratrol could enhance the activity and decrease oxidative stress (P < 0.05); Meanwhile, the expression of glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4) and ferritin heavy chain 1 (FTH1) were signifi cantly increased (P < 0.05) Conclusions Resveratrol protects against myocardial I/R injury via reducing oxidative stress and attenuating ferroptosis. Resveratrol could be a potential agent to the prevention of myocardial I/R injury.
