Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma protein C, protein S activity, antithrombin III level and pregnancy outcome in patients with recurrent abortion. Methods 50 patients with missed abortion without abortion history treated in Fujian maternal and child health hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the missed abortion group, 40 patients with missed abortion and abortion history twice or more were selected as the recurrent abortion group, and 50 patients who underwent induced abortion for the first time were selected as the control group. Plasma protein C, protein s activities and antithrombin III levels were compared among the three groups. Results The plasma protein C, protein s activities and antithrombin III levels in recurrent abortion group were significantly lower than those in control group and missed abortion group (P < 0.05); There was no significant difference in plasma protein C, protein S activity and antithrombin III level between missed abortion group and control group (P > 0.05). Conclusion Patients with recurrent spontaneous abortion have a high risk of thrombosis. Plasma protein C, protein S activity and antithrombin III level can predict the risk of thrombosis. Targeted treatment can improve pregnancy outcome.
