Methods 98 patients with oral ulcer treated in the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Xiamen Medical College from January 2019 to April 2021 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 49 cases in each group. The control group was treated with triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment, and the observation group was treated with iodine glycerin on the basis of the control group. The recovery and inflammatory factor levels after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the ulcer area, VAS score and SF-36 score of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (P < 0.05); in addition, serum TNF-α and IL-6 levels were lower than those in the control group, IFN-γ level was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Iodine glycerin combined with triamcinolone acetonide oral ointment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of oral ulcer, inhibit the inflammatory reaction, promote the rapid healing of ulcer and improve the quality of life of patients.
