Abstract: 〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the effect of floating needle on the quality of life of patients with cancer pain. Methods A total of 78 patients with cancer pain who were treated in the ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and the outpatient department of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine from September 2021 to May 2022 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 39 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with analgesia management, and the patients in the observation group were treated with floating needle on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared. Results After treatment, the numerical rating scale (NRS) and Hamilton depression scale (HAMD) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the pain score of brief pain index (BPI) in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After treatment, the BPI scores of daily life and emotion in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Floating needle intervention has obvious effect on cancer pain patients, which can improve the pain symptoms and bad emotions of cancer pain patients, and help to improve the quality of life of patients.
