Abstract: 〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the value of Graf method and Harcke method in the diagnosis of developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) in children. Methods A total of 150 infants (198 hips) with suspected DDH admitted to Shangqiu Third People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the research objects. All of them were examined by Graf and Harcke methods. The diagnostic value of Graf method and Harcke method alone and in combination for DDH was analyzed. The clinical diagnosis results were taken as the gold standard, and the consistency of Graf method and Harcke method alone and in combination for diagnosis of DDH was analyzed by Kappa method. Results The sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value of combined examination in the diagnosis of DDH were significantly higher than those of the Graf method and Harcke method, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The Kappa value of Graf method in the diagnosis of DDH was 0.790, the Kappa value of Harcke method in the diagnosis of DDH was 0.781, and the Kappa value of combined examination method in the diagnosis of DDH was 0.964. The consistency of combined examination method was the best. Conclusion Graf method combined with Harcke method can improve the sensitivity and accuracy of diagnosis of DDH, and the consistency with clinical diagnosis results is the best.
