Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To explore the effect of self-strengthening management education combined with emotional nursing on improving psychological state and compliance of breast cancer patients. Methods A total of 122 patients with breast cancer admitted to Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2019 to May 2021 were selected for this study. According to different nursing methods, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 61 cases in each group.The control group of patients for routine care, the observation group of patients on the basis of the control group of self-strengthening management education combined with emotional care, compared the two groups of patients with intervention effects, including self-management ability, psychological status, treatment compliance, quality of life. Results After intervention, the self-care ability scale (ESCA) score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After intervention, the scores of self–rating depression scale (SDS) and self–rating anxiety scale (SAS) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).The total treatment compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After intervention, the functional assessment of cancer therapy (FACT-G) in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Self-reinforcing management education combined with emotional nursing can further strengthen the quality of nursing, enhance the self-care ability of breast cancer patients, improve psychological state, improve treatment compliance, and optimize the quality of life.
