Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine oral administration combined with traditional Chinese medicine manual reduction in the treatment of closed forearm fractures. Methods A total of 66 patients with closed forearm fracture admitted to Zhangzhou Zhangpu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2022 were selected. The patients were divided into a control group (traditional Chinese medicine manual reduction treatment) and an observation group (traditional Chinese medicine oral administration combined with traditional Chinese medicine manual reduction treatment) according to whether the treatment was implemented, with 33 cases in each group. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results The visual analogue scales (VAS) scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 3, 7 and 14 days after treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). After 3 months of treatment, the ulnar declination, palmar inclination, forearm pronation and forearm pronation in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medicine oral administration combined with traditional Chinese medicine manual reduction is better than that of single traditional Chinese medicine manual reduction for closed forearm fracture.
