Abstract:〔Abstract〕 Objective To analyze the sensitivity of ureaplasma urealyticum and mycoplasma hominis in urogenital specimens to commonly used antibacterial drugs, in order to provide reference for the formulation of antibacterial drug use plan. Methods 80 samples of urogenital tract collected in Pingdingshan Maternal and Child Health Hospital from June 2021 to February 2023 were selected for mycoplasma detection and drug sensitivity test with the help of mycoplasma culture and drug sensitivity test kit. Results Out of 80 specimens of the urinary and reproductive tract, 74 (92.50%) of them were detected as Ureaplasma urealyticum, while 4 (5.00%) were detected as Ureaplasma urealyticum and Mycoplasma hominis, and 1 (1.25%) was detected as Mycoplasma hominis.Ureaplasma urealyticum isolated is highly sensitive to tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, clarithromycin and josamycin. Ureaplasma urealyticum and mycoplasma hominis were also highly sensitive to tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, clarithromycin and josamycin, but the sensitivity was not as good as that of Ureaplasma urealyticum alone. Mycoplasma hominis isolated is highly sensitive to tetracycline and macrolide. Ureaplasma urealyticum and mycoplasma hominis are highly resistant to quinolones. Conclusion Ureaplasma urealyticum is the most common in genitourinary tract, which is highly sensitive to tetracyclines and some macrolides, but highly resistant to quinolones. Therefore, it is necessary to select the corresponding antibiotics strictly according to the results of culture and drug sensitivity test in clinic to maximize the antibacterial effect.
